BOEHM, Alphonse J., He flew with Roger Kline's crew in the 98th Bomb Squad on the Unapproachable. He was an Armorer and tail gunner. He passed away on May 23, 2010 and is buried in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Saint Louis, MO.
MASONHEIMER, Robert H., Lt. Col. USAF Ret. He flew 30 combat missions in a B-24 "Smokey Stover". He passed away on May 25, 2022 at 103 years young. He was buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO.
GIESLER, Sylvester M., January 10, 2019 at 95 years young. He was an aerial gunner in the 11th Bombardment Group (H), from April 30, 1943 until November 19, 1945.
McLEROY, Sam D., August 14, 2014, Eatonton, GA. He joined the 11th group in 1943 and was tail gunner/flight engineer on the "Puss 'n Boots".
CUZZOLINA, James A. Jr., July 20, 1924 - July 4, 2017, Fullerton, CA. Jim was a member of the 7th Air Force, 11th Bombardment Group (H), 98th Sq. and the Pilot of a B-24 Liberator "Dragon Lady". Jim's Story
WORREL, Jack Winfield, October 3, 1920, Columbus, Ohio - March 10, 2017, Naples, Florida. Jack was a member of the 7th Air Force, 11th Bombardment Group (H), 431st Sq. and a Tail Gunner on a B-24 Liberator as part of Sam Taylor's crew. He flew 40 successful missions over the South Pacific. Jack was president of the 11th BGA in 1981 and he attended many of the reunions. Jack's Story

SIEBENBRUNER, Neal, March 11, 1925, Mankato, MN - October 30, 2016, Mankato, MN. Neal was a member of the 7th Air Force, 11th Bombardment Group (H), 431st Sq. and a Ball Turret Gunner on a B-24 Liberator named "Sky's Delight". He flew 40 successful missions over the South Pacific. Neal was also a past president, 1972 and 2010, of the 11th BGA. Neal's story.
MAHONEY, Hugh, about 1918 - December 21, 2013, San Antonio, Texas. Hugh was a member of the 7th Air Force, 11th Bombardment Group (H), 42nd Sq. and a Navigator on a B-17 Flying Fortess named "Hel-En-Wings". Hugh was also a Pearl Harbor survivor. Like Will Rogers, he rarely met anyone (animals included) that he didn't like.
CORCORAN, John Michael, January 8, 1923, Bronx, New York - June 8, 2016, Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey. Captain Corcoran was a member of the 7th Air Force, 11th Bombardment Group (H), he completed 40 combat missions as a Navigator on a B-24 Liberator serving in the Central and South Pacific. STONE, Robert L., December 19, 1921, New York City - January 28, 2009, Boca Grande, Florida. 2nd Lt. Robert L. Stone was a member of the 7th Air Force, 11th Bombardment Group (H), 431st Bomb Squadron and he flew 40 combat missions as a Bombardier on a B-24 Liberator. WUERTELE, Carl Eugene “Kayo”, January 18, 1914, St. Joseph, Missouri – December 14, 2000, Denver, Colorado. 11th Bombardment Group (H), 42nd Squadron. Kayo was the pilot of a B-17E Flying Fortress named Hel-En-Wings in honor of his wife and sister. He and his wife Helen were Pearl Harbor survivors.
