2nd Lt. William D. Morrison Jr. was a co-pilot on the “Virginia Belle”, a B-24D Liberator # 42-40645. The pilot was 1st Lt. Charles Friedrich Jr. and their plane was lost on November 13, 1943 returning from a raid on Tarawa. The following pictures were submitted by Terry Woodward. She located Lt. Morrison’s widow and was allowed to copy his scrapbook.
