The following information was presented by Dr. Thomas Bakehorn, son of Lt. LeRoy Bakehorn. Lt. Bakehorn was a member of the 11th Bombardment Group (H) during the period of 1943 to 1945 and flew 44 missions in the Pacific Theater. In 1965 he attended the 11th Bombardment Group (H) Association reunion in St. Louis. Lt. Bakehorn passed away in 1992 and always said he was very proud of those he served with him.
